Stars And The Arts
Stars have their own romantic presence in everything humanity does as far back as the dawn of humanity itself. Stars have been active participants of love stories, travels, adventures and even chaotic events in humanity. While in modern days we know that these perceptions of what Stars are and can do is only a romantic reflection of our own desires and ideals, in past times, they were the place where heroes went to live forever, symbols of perennial love and much more.
Whether stars are masses of incandescent gas or planets reflect the light of our sun, and regardless if these planets are populated or not, it is of no higher consequence or importance. The romantic figure that stars have in the contemporary human psyche remains untainted and unchanged; stories and fantasies regarding stars and people that live in them and come to earth are unchanged.
Generations have come and gone and each one has developed a unique and important relationship with particular stars from Venus to any particular constellation, stars come to be an important part of literature, art and other beautiful arts. The stars high up in the sky are silent witnesses of the actions and directions that humanity as a whole is taking in the earth as well as the ventures that the species has in the exploration and discovery of the mysteries that lie beyond earth’s skies.
The stars and their presence in the development of human history certainly has yet to reach the pinnacle and final point.
